We are very pleased to inform that, during the 42th congress of Sociedade Brasileira de Angiologia e de Cirurgia Vascular (SBACV), held in Natal, state of Rio Grande do Norte, we received the wonderful news that our Jornal Vascular Brasileiro (JVB) was approved and will now be indexed in PubMed Central.
With this important achievement, our JVB will significantly increase its international visibility and prestige, and published articles will be searchable in the PubMed database, a tool widely used to search for medical literature worldwide. It is likely that some of our articles will be available on PubMed by the end of this year.
I'm most thankful to all authors, reviewers, corporate partners (Editora Cubo, Organiza - Secretaria Executiva, and Scientific Linguagem), as well as to Society Board members, for their continued support to JVB, which has enabled the successful achievement of this goal.
Winston Bonetti Yoshida - Editor-in-chief
